Kathryn Boyd’s lacy, layered wedding dress may be stunning from every angle, but it was only after she posted the story behind the piece that we realized just how special it was. The self-designed creation, which she wore while saying “I do” to Josh Brolin, was something she’d dreamed about wearing for “a lifetime” and was sewn together by Chris Hudson using her mother’s old lace. It was a way of combining tradition with Kathryn’s own unique taste, and we’ll definitely be dreaming about it for a long time.
